This is a simple but very symbolic theme that decorates a small vase of the Archaeological Museum of Heraklion. It was found in Phaistos and belongs to the early Pre-Palace period. It served as a weighing utensil. Its decoration is simple and completely schematic, with three female figures in motion. It represents a ritual dance, with the Goddess-mother Earth in the center, which is surrounded by two priestesses.
